don't be afraid to look at other members layouts to get ideas.
But don't go overboard with buying stuff. It can be really hard to create a layout when you have too much stuff to choose from.

you'll get there too.
I had no idea what I was doing when I first started.
Now bigW has a great range of Papers for only $12 and they contains 50 - 100 diffrent papers.
they also have some nice embelishments and a good price.
Punchies are great, tho there are alot out there that are really cheap and nasty and wont cut through cardstock and just break. I have been through many of them. so just see if they are heavy and made of steel/metal.
Ribbon is also good (but not to be used near a photo) and a straight cutter to cut large peices of paper at a right angle.

I Have a cutting Mat
ruler metel
some shapes and letter stecils (sp) with the cutter circle looking thing
i have craft knife
ablum
sicess (sp) and i have the shape one aswell which i brought from big ages ago
few embelishments
2 scrap kits
one family
one baby
Tape
like a 100 gel pens ( had these for ages aswell)
and that all i have so far i think
I wouldnt use the pens...
buy some made for scrapbooking as ink acid runs the fastest and its no good!
you want your albums to last a life time so better to buy compleatly acid and lignen free products to assure your preserving your memories for a lifetime.
Gosh I sould like a comercial haha and a know it all.. but I do know it all when it comes scrappin (almost lol still learnning)

lol i ask the lady at craft shop about the pens and she said that most gel pens are acid free... i guess i have buy some scrapbooking one
if they are cheaper ones they are on 100% acid free..
unfortuntly you are aloud to say they are acid free if they are even 10% acid free.. so I personaly wouldnt take the chance..
