I would really love to be able to dry out or press the flowers I was given last night, what would be the best way to do it so I could use them on a scrap page?

on some cooking paper between some phone books, or just under something heavy..

Does it have to be cooking paper?
Does it work with other paper?

oh and how long do I have to leave them, do I have to dry them out first?

no press them wet. You can use other paper, but just be careful of the paper when you take it off..

Leave them for a couple of days then check em..

They won't stick - they just wont be as nice.. The wax helps keep in the colour of the flowers as its part of the moisture.

IF you use wax paper, dont check on them for at least a week.

I would love to keep the colour in as the are beautiful.

Do I get wax paper in the cooking isle, like with the non stick cooking paper?

hehehe it is the non stick cooking paper babe :D They don't make the old fashioned wax paper like they used to. You CAN get it from some craft stores, but it's not cheap.. arses.. the non stick stuff will work just fine :D

V has just said they used to hang all the flowers up side down when she was in the flower shed.

Hot air drying,
or food dehydrater

I've used just normal paper towel and works for me.

You'll need to press them for a good month though for them to be completely dried out.

the longer the better really.

I Have dried roses before by hanging them upside down, but I thought it would be better to press them to use them for scrapbooking.

With all the shit that has been happening here and at home I haven't had to get the baking paper and my flowers are dying sad2 sad2 sad2
