i have no idea. adam got me the stuff.
Photoshop is a huge program. You can do HUGE amounts on it.
The easiest way to learn is google some basic tutorials so you get an idea of what the buttons to. The practice!
I've been using it for a while now, but still consider myself a beginner with it!!
I mistly process photos. A quick example of something I had to do recently.... if you are interested in seeing the sorts of things you can do with photoshop.
My aunty had a fall the night before my Nan's huge 80th birthday celebrations, all the family who haven't seen each other for 20, 30 years and more were there. So my poor aunty didn't want photos taken with all her cuts & grazes. But I couldn't not have her in the photos as it was the first, and probably last big family reunion.... so I promised her I'd photoshop her. LOL
*This is just a small crop of the photo as an example, the full picture below.*

To do that I used both the CLONE tool (looks like a stamp) and the HEALING BRUSH (looks like a bandaid). Also I usually run a quick USM (unsharp mask) over the photos if they need it and I adjust the levels.
If you'd like some help with anything let me know. No promises that I can help (like I said, I'm still learning myself!) but if I know I'm happy to help.
LOL I just realised how old this thread is.... doh!!! Never mind me then..... *hides*

did you use the healing brush tool?
It's an old thread, but it's still all good.
did you use the healing brush tool
yes!yes!

I've actually only recently started using it. I used to only use the clone tool, but now I use a combination of both.

oh wow thats so clever!
Wow that looks great :)
Very clever
I did other things too... like one of the photos Levi had his head turned around (facing the wall behind us) so I had to get the next photo (his head facing forwards) and put it on the other one. LOL
And another photo my Mum had her eyes closed..... got a smilar one with her eyes opened and put her open eyes on the photo with her eyes shut.
I noramlly wouldn't do that for photos, but as mentioned some of them were important.

yeah it's good to be able to do those sort of things when it's really needed.
I love the clone tool too.
i wish we could buy one of those tools for real life. lol.

I wish I had photoshop. We used it in a photography class I took in Highschool, and I lvoed it. But it os so expensive, and I don't see a point in downloading the trial, only to not be able to purchase it after. (pouting)

The teacher i had in uni for digital arts was crap. We use photoshop, and I didn't learn a thing. I've learnt more from lynda.com. and I'm still learning.
