Has anyone done paper weaving ? (great for scrapping)

I'm just wondering if anyone has done any paper weaving ?
I seen it on an add this morning for a scrapbooking kit so i thought i would try it myself and i must say i like the finished product and it is so easy to do.

Yeah I have.. but you cant tell that I did weave it.. but it left the finish clean cut :)

Ok here is the one that I did weaving in. As I said you cant really tell but under all the photos it is weaved in and out through under the photos....
up close you can see....
I have done a larger weaving pick with the squares 3 by 3 squares taking up a 12 by 12 page, but that was for my sister.

I had to scan that pic in two places and put them together in corel.. sorry but I dont have a big enough scanner to do the whole lot.. so the line through the middle is just where I tried to put them together :) sorry

Thanks for sharing Kay but that's not exactly what kind of paper weaving i was talking about but hey your layout looks great.
As Jen said you can't see it on your layouts, i have a new camera that takes really good pics so i will as soon as i can take a pic of the paper weaving layout that i did.
I think Jen is on the same wave length as me when it comes to the design of the paper weaving i am talking about ... anyway once again thanks so much Kay for sharing your layout.

I'm going to be weaving a basket for my fringed flowers this week at my quilling class! I'll take a picture when I get home to show you all!

yeh ive seen it and there is this pack thing u can buy that helpes u make all that paper weaving stuff i was going to get it for emily for chrissy but i thought it was a lil to old for her just yet!

It's pretty easy to do once you know how, it's so much easier though with paper that is the same especially if it has squares on it...cause when you are cutting the strips you can work out how long you can have them.
